Conservative Leadership Conference straw poll results

The fine folks over at PoliticalDerby.com ran a Republican presidential straw poll at the Conservative Leadership Conference this weekend. The conference drew about 500 attendees, reflecting mostly a libertarian-leaning conservatism.

The results of the poll:

Ron Paul, who had the largest contingent of volunteers at the conference: 33 percent.

Mitt Romney, who spoke Friday: 16 percent.

Duncan Hunter, who spoke Saturday: 15 percent.

Undecided: 11 percent.

Fred Thompson: 8 percent.

Rudy Giuliani: 6 percent.

Alan Keyes, who spoke Friday night: 4 percent.

Mike Huckabee: 3 percent.

Tom Tancredo: 1.6 percent.

John McCain: 1 percent.

Sam Brownback: less than 1 percent.
