Ron Paul Revolution Invades Hot August Nights

SPARKS, NV, August 10, 2007--- The Ron Paul Revolution spread to Sparks this evening, as seven Ron Paul supporters stood on the corner of Pyramid Way and C Street during the Hot August Nights festivities. The dedicated supporters camped out on the sidewalk for nearly two hours and spread Ron Paul's message of peace, prosperity, and freedom to hundreds of drivers and pedestrians.

The Ron Paul supporters, many wearing T-shirts with slogans supporting Ron Paul, posted themselves where crowds of people passed on the way to Victorian Square and the Hot August Nights celebration. They carried signs that read: "Ron Paul for President 2008", "Honk for Ron Paul", and "Ron Paul Revolution". The group estimates that over four hundred flyers were passed out to the pedestrians. One Ron Paul supporter, Lesia, went into Victorian Square and handed out flyers to people who were sitting in chairs waiting for the controlled cruise to begin. "I gave them some reading material," she said with a laugh.

"Be more informed," Katie, another Ron Paul supporter, told passersby as she held out flyers. Many people seemed interested, and some asked for more information. The Ron Paul supporters were eager to spread the congressman's message of peace, freedom, and limted government. "He follows the Constitution, and he wants to bring the troops home," Jennifer told pedestrians as they walked around the group's signs. Another Ron Paul supporter, Robert, passed out flyers to cars waiting at the stoplight, and told them to "Google Ron Paul" Many drivers honked to show support, and others waved and smiled.

The local Ron Paul supporters showed their dedication to Congressman Paul and his message at this rally on Friday. By spreading the Congressman's message to hundreds of people and raising name recognition for Ron Paul, this dedicated group showed that they are the vanguard of the Ron Paul supporters in northern Nevada.
