Local Ron Paul Group Crashes Reno arTown Again

RENO, NV, July 27, 2007--- The Reno Ron Paul Revolution took their movement to Wingfield Park today for the third consecutive Friday this July. Ten Ron Paul supporters, many wearing T-shirts with slogans supporting Ron Paul, posted themselves on the Arlington street bridge at the southwest entrance to Wingfield Park.  They carried signs that read: "Ron Paul for President 2008", "Honk for Ron Paul", and "Ron Paul Revolution".   They passed out numerous flyers to pedestrians.  The group estimates over five hundred flyers were passed out, and about seventy drivers honked to show support.

"This is extremely interesting," one man remarked as he looked intently at a flyer the Ron Paul group had given him.  Dr. Wayne Terhune, treasurer of the Ron Paul group, had just told the man of Ron Paul's message of limited government and strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution.  While attempting to increase name recognition for the ten-term congressman from Texas, the group also worked to educate the public about Ron Paul's message of personal freedom, limited government, and peaceful foreign policy.

The group's signs were visible across the street, and about seventy drivers honked to show their support.  Numerous others waved or gave thumbs-up to the Ron Paul group, which believes they made a very positive impact on the city of Reno.  According to their Meet-Up website, the group plans to meet next at the Northwest Reno Library on August 2, 2007, at 6 p.m.

The local Ron Paul supporters showed their dedication to Congressman Paul and his message at this rally on Friday. By spreading the Congressman's message to hundreds of people and raising name recognition for Ron Paul, this dedicated group showed that they are the vanguard of the Ron Paul supporters in northern Nevada.
