Reno Ron Paul Group: Second Meeting, June 20, 2007

The second meeting (6/20/07) of the newly-christened Reno Ron Paul Rebels was originally scheduled to take place at the Tanamera Apartments theater, but due to scheduling difficulties, the group ended up back at Walden's Coffeehouse. Thirteen people attended this meeting, including some new members. At this meeting, discussion focussed on local events the group could attend to get Ron Paul's name out in the community. The Sparks Farmer's Market was ruled out as a venue due to the requirement of a 501c3 (proving tax exempt status). Opportunities for 4th of July events were also discussed; Sparks was again ruled out due to the lack of opportunities, and the Reno event, if carried out as in years past in Rancho San Rafael Park, was concluded to be a more accessible venue. The new Reno farmer's market was also discussed, as well as the Big Reno Show in August at the Grand Sierra Resort.

The group decided to have a rally on that Saturday (June 23) in downtown Reno.
